The Four Main Groups of WC Benefits
Medical Expense Benefits
When injured on the job, the employee is entitled to reasonable and necessary medical care paid for by the employer. The injured employee has the right to expensed care for two choices of doctors and whichever doctors those two may refer the employee to.
Temporary Total Disability Benefits
These benefits are given to the injured employee during the period of time that he or she is unable to work because of the injury. The payment is based upon the employee's weekly wages and stop when your doctor releases you to return to work.
Permanent Partial Disability Benefits
If an injury results in a permanent impairment that does not prevent the employee from working entirely, they may be entitled to compensation based on the nature and extent of the permanent disability.
Death Benefits
If an employee dies on the job, the employee's dependent family members are entitled to compensation for the loss of the source of income. Our attorneys are skilled at attaining maximum benefits for the individuals who are owed them.
Disability for Life
